Ski Schools, Race Programs & Lessons

Learn to Ski or Ride (ages 13+) 10am or 1pm - $79

Includes a 90 minute group lesson, an all-day lift ticket and rental equipment.This program is designed for first time skiers and riders.

Private Lessons 9am, 12pm & 3pm

Private Lesson $55 per person; Semi-Private Lessons $50 per person (lift and rental not included)

Group Lesson 10am & 1pm

Group Ski or Snowboard Lesson $40 per person (lift and rental not included)

Kids Snow Sports Day Camp (Ages 6-12)

Reservations recommended, check-in begins at 9:00am.

Black Mountain Bears (Ski or Ride) - This program is for skiers and riders who are able to ride the chairlift and handle beginner terrain. For first time skiers or riders please see the Learn to Ski/Ride programs.

Full day - $89 per day (9:30am-3:00pm) Program includes all day lift ticket, lessons(4 hours), rentals & lunch

Half day - $79 sessions are available from 10:00am-12:00pm or 1:00pm-3:00pm - includes lift, lesson (2 hours) & rental.

Black Mountain Cubs (ages 3-5) $99 per day

This program is for both first time skiers and those who are able to handle beginner terrain.

Program includes all day lift ticket, rental equipment, 1 hour lesson, and full day Play Care until 3:00pm.

TOT Lesson (ages 3-5) $30 1 hour lesson / $50 1 hour lesson and rental equipment

Play Care (ages 1 - 5)

$45 half day with lunch 9am-12:30pm and 12:00pm-3:30pm
$75 full day with lunch 9am-3:30pm

Seasonal Programs

Black Bear Program (ages 6 - 12)

The Black Bear Program is for children ages 6 – 12 who want to ski in a structured environment with emphasis on good ski skills and a life long love of the sport of skiing. The program runs on Saturdays, Sundays 10 - 12 and 1 – 2:30. This is an excellent program for kids who want to improve their skills to join the Black Mountain Race Team, or just be able to have fun skiing with other kids learning as they go. To be in this program, kids must be able to ride the chairlift independently and confidently handle beginner terrain. This program is for skiers and riders who are able to ride the chairlift and handle beginner/intermediate terrain.

Black Mountain Race Team

The Black Mountain Race team meets on Weekends from 9 - 12 and 1 - 3pm. The team will focus on race training skills, and attend races at home and other mountains. To participate in this program, skiers need to be able to ride the chairlift independently, and handle beginner, intermediate and expert terrain.
