The final weekend is here.

It is going to be an absolutely incredible day to be at Black Mountain with sunny skies, temperatures pushing 70 degrees, and some of the best spring skiing conditions you could ask for. This is as good as it gets for closing weekend.

After the last few rainy days, our grooming team went to work, pushing out and reconnecting the trail to get the best possible product from our remaining snowpack. The 4 open trails are wide and very white. This is going to be one heck of a ski day. The Double and Triple will spin from 9 AM to 7 PM, giving you a full day of spring laps, sunshine, and mountain vibes.

The energy this weekend is going to be all-time. We have eight live music acts, fireworks after dusk, and nonstop action across the mountain. Lift tickets are priced from just $9 to $49, making this one final chance to get out here and celebrate another historic season.

The Black Mountain Buffet runs from 9 AM to 9 PM, serving breakfast, lunch, and dinner all day long. Up at the Alpine Cabin, it’s champagne, fondue, and sunbathing all afternoon. Non-skiers are welcome to ride the Triple for just $10 and take part in the atmosphere.

Live music starts at noon with Matt & Friends. DJ Erik w/ a K spins the final Alpine Cabin set of the season from 2 to 4 PM alongside resident saxophonist Matt Dolliver. Country Ham takes over the back deck at the base from 3 to 6 PM, before legendary Motor Booty Affair lights up the new flagship stage at 6:15 PM.

The night wraps up with a fireworks display after dusk, while pizza, wings, and the Base Lodge Bar keep rolling late into the night.

One last huge weekend. Sunshine, skiing, music, fireworks, champagne, and the mountain community that made this season unforgettable. This is the sport and culture of skiing. Let’s send it properly.
