A note about the children...

In my first season here, we opened up free season passes to all students at the Jackson Grammar School. This past season, we expanded that to all students K-8 in SAU 9. Hundreds of passes have cumulated to thousands of free ski days for these kids. After lots of number crunching, we have come to the conclusion that we left a significant amount of revenue on the table with this program. While Black Mountain is a treasured destination for the entire New England Ski Community, it is also an important local asset. That asset must remain accessible, and we will again demand that all local kids have access to outdoor recreation, and Black Mountain will continue to provide unlimited season passes to all local kids K-8.

New Early & Late Season Passes

​We will launch both an early-season and late-season pass. Both options are great extensions to your “other mountain” season pass.  We will strive to open in November, ski into May, and have the longest ski season in New Hampshire.

Early Season - $189

The Early-Season Pass gets you access every day from opening day through Christmas Day.

 

Late Season - $189

The Late-Season Pass kicks in on April 1st each season and unlocks a lengthy and legendary spring season.

Uphill Passes

We will continue to offer a separate uphill pass, complemented by new early and late-season downhill pass offerings. Uphill remains a key part of our sport and culture at Black Mountain. We will continue to offer a child and adult uphill pass, and will bring back early morning and outside operating hours access.​

 

 

The Process

Our current passholders will have a week to purchase with priority. This group will bypass the waitlist this season and every season going forward. There is a significant discount on all products for our returning passholders, which will continue year over year. Thank you for your continued support of this little mountain that could.

 

On Thursday, April 2nd, we will open passes to people signed up on the waitlist, in priority order. The waitlist is deep. Getting on that list ASAP is your pathway to securing a season pass at Black Mountain. Season Passes will fully sell out. Our waitlist members also enjoy a discount over general public pricing.  If there is any remaining capacity, we will open pass sales to the public on Thursday, April 9th.

 

We have worked very hard to keep skiing affordable. Most pass options cost less than 23/24 season pass prices, and I believe the improvements since that time speak for themselves.

 

Our no-bank, zero-interest payment plan is available on ALL pass types. We are doing everything we can to keep skiing and riding affordable and manageable by breaking up your purchase over time.
