Hello Black Mountain Family,
It has been an incredible week on the mountain, with lots of fresh snow since Sunday and more in the forecast through the weekend—plus sunny skies in between storms. It’s the perfect time to experience the best conditions of the season yourself. We will be dropping ropes left and right on new terrain all weekend long.
I understand that some guests ended up with parking tickets from the Town of Jackson during the busy MLK weekend. If you received one, please send me a photo of it, and I will personally reimburse you—no one should be penalized for skiing or riding at Black Mountain, but please follow directions from our parking staff. We are meeting with the town next week to discuss how we can continue to work together on parking and manage the success of Black Mountain.
In addition to perfect conditions, we have some amazing events coming up this weekend. Don’t miss our ever-popular Friday Night Lights, which will feature a new route up through the woods, and conclude with another great raffle for all participants. We’re offering FREE night skiing and riding on our handle tow from 4 PM to 7 PM on both Friday and Saturday. Saturday is Winter Fest, featuring live music by Dan Parkhurst at the Alpine Cabin and a double-header at the base lodge with live music by Dan Aldrich and Jeremy Dean. We’ll also have delicious food specials throughout the day. Make sure to check out our Bar Menu at the base lodge for sit down food options.
In February we will be sharing more details regarding our transition to a co-op structure. Remember that 24/25 season passholders have priority in purchasing shares over the general public, and we will cut off season pass sales on Monday February 17th, finalizing that list. Please make sure you have registered your interest on the CO-OP section of our website to stay informed as this transition starts to speed up. Your enthusiasm and support have been vital to this process, Black Mountain and everything that it stands for has a bright future.
Thanks for being here.

Sounds like an amazing time on the mountain! It's great to see the GM taking care of guests with those parking tickets. Can't wait to hit the slopes and launch site for some fresh snow!

A "Letter from the GM" is a classic way to kick off the year with transparency, reflecting on past wins while setting the vision for the months ahead.
I usually check out truyện tranh for a quick and simple break during my downtime.
By January 30th, the initial holiday rush has settled, making it the perfect time for leadership to align the team and community on the big goals for the rest of the year!

A thoughtful update like this helps build trust and keeps the community informed about future plans. Academic preparation also benefits from consistency, and many students use an ACT Practice Test 2026 regularly.
