In less than 48 hours, we diagnosed, removed, transported, rebuilt, and reinstalled the primary drive motor for the Summit Double. As of 11:30 today, we are loading the public on the lift for top-to-bottom skiing and riding. While the lift was down, we spent extra time grooming and ensuring the surface conditions were as good as possible. The skiing and riding are fantastic.
We are also making progress on the triple. Overnight and in between working on the double, we were able to get the lift rigged and the top bull wheel removed. We are still unsure of the exact specifications of the bearing that failed. We have one set of bearings in Tennessee, and a set with slightly different specifications in Massachusetts. We bought both sets, and both are en route. We will be working nonstop till that lift joins the double in returning to full operations. Stand by.
Our last special holiday series, Friday Night Lights, runs again tonight, and we have added additional cat-skiing boarding times, bringing us to 5, 5:30, 6, 6:30, 7, and 7:30 loading times. Tomorrow, our NYE touch light parade, fireworks, and afterparty will run as scheduled. Make sure you sign up here in advance.
The Alpine Cabin is open all day, and our full sit-down menu is available in our Base Lodge. Scott Baer will play at the cabin from 4-8 PM. We will have live music at the base lodge by Chris Schalick from 2-5 PM, then by GreenBush Trio from 5-8 PM.
Many people worked around the clock over the last 48 hours to get the double running as we know your time is valuable, especially over this holiday vacation week. This was not a straightforward fix with on-the-shelf parts, and it would have been reasonable to expect a fix taking weeks, not hours. Thank you to everyone who made it happen. It is time to ski.
Thanks for being here.
Erik

It’s impressive how quickly the team got the Summit Double back up and running—definitely not an easy task! Reading this reminded me of how much behind-the-scenes work goes into keeping things smooth for visitors. I’ve written about similar dedication in outdoor sports over on Wheelie Life. Can’t wait to hear when the Triple is back too!
It’s impressive how quickly you managed to get the lift running again—sounds like an intense 48 hours! I can totally relate to those moments when everything feels like a race against time; I once wrote about a similar experience on Cobb Can Move. Hope the triple comes together just as smoothly!
Wow, getting the double lift back up so fast is impressive! Ski conditions sound amazing. By the way, if you're into detailed game guides, I've been checking out the paralives wiki for tips on build mode and careers.
Great to see Double making a strong return, and the hint at Triple coming next makes the roadmap even more exciting—also, if you're looking to enhance your gameplay, Sprunki Mods offer creative new features, custom mechanics, and fresh challenges that really expand the experience.
That’s some incredible dedication by the team to get the double back up so quickly—props to everyone involved! It reminds me of discussions I’ve had over on Crazy Cattle 3D about how problem-solving under pressure can lead to amazing results. Looking forward to seeing updates on the triple soon!Wow, the level of effort and coordination to get the lifts back up and running is incredible! It reminds me of some conversations I’ve had on Crazy Cattle 3D about how problem-solving under pressure can bring out the best in a team. Kudos to everyone involved—it’s great to see this kind of dedication!
